New Delhi : In the wake of the Kupwara attack that claimed lives of three Army personnel this morning, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag took to Twitter expressing his ire over the tragedy while saying that such attacks should come to an end.
"3 soldiers martyred, dreams of 3 families shattered, as we were sleeping. Whatever be the solution, this now has to end somewhere. #Kupwara," he tweeted.

This is not the first time, when the former cricketer has raised his voice condemning attacks on army personnel.
Earlier, he had criticized a video, where a security personnel was mishandled by a youth in Srinagar.
"This is Unacceptable ! Can't do this to our CRPF jawaans .This rot has to stop. Badtameezi ki hadd hai," Sehwag had tweeted.
Two terrorists have been killed, while three soldiers have lost their lives as an Army camp in Kupwara's Panzgam in Jammu and Kashmir is presently under attack.
An officer is among the three Army men who have been killed in the attack.
Meanwhile, reports state that two more terrorists are still holed up and attempts are being made to smoke them out.
The entire area has been cordoned off and search operations are underway.
The location of the under attack-camp is close to the Line of Control (LoC). Also elements of Special Forces have reached the place of action.
This is the second major attack on defence forces in a week, as last Monday as many as 25 CRPF personnel were killed in an encounter with Naxals in Chhattisgarh's Sukma.(ANI)
