Russian security forces on Thursday have arrested four men linked to the Islamic State (ISIS) terror network and suspected of planning a series of terror attacks on Moscow's transport system.
According to a statement by the Federal Security Service (FSB, formerly KGB),"Four men, including citizens of Russia and of unspecified Central Asian countries, were detained.They were plotting terror attacks on Moscow transport infrastructure on the orders of IS leaders in Syria using homemade explosive devices."

The agency found an explosives production labortaory, a ready to use improvised explosive device with sharpnel and components for its production during the raid that led to the arrests of four suspects.
On April 3, a suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive hidden in his briefcase in St. Petersburg's metro, killing 15 people and injuring at least 45 others.
The Kremlin is worried that terrorists may target this summer's FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup, both of which will be hosted by Russia.
Russian President Vladimir Putin had signed an order to strengthen security measures during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup which is set to be played in the cities of St. Petersburg, Moscow, Kazan and Sochi between June 17 and July 2 and the 2018 World Cup,(ANI)
