U.S, Gulf Cooperation Council ink MoU to combat terrorism financing

The United States and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a center to combat terrorism financing.

The MoU was signed at King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in the presence of Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the leaders and heads of delegations of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) for Arab Countries and U.S. President Donald Trump, Saudi Arabia's official SPA news agency reported.

Saudi Arabia's Deputy Prime Minister and the Interior Minister Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz represented the GCC while U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson represented the American side during the exchange of MoU between the two.

The MoU was inked during a U.S.-Gulf summit, which opened in Saudi capital Riyadh on Sunday. (ANI)
