Jhansi : Asserting that 'acche din' has begun for the people of Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday claimed that Bundelkhand's water scarcity problem will come to an end within two years.
Pointing out to the pro-people initiatives taken by his government so far, Adityanath promised six lanes express in Bundelkhand district.
"All roads in the state will be repaired by June 15," he said while addressing at a function in Jhansi.
Asserting that women of the state will be provided with better security, Yogi also promised to work for all sections of the society without any discrimination.
Taking a dig at the previous Samajwadi Party regime in the state, the Chief Minister said that his government would also fulfill all failed promises.
Yogi also warned that corruption will not be tolerated in the state.
He also assured that no poor will remain hungry and die without treatment during his tenure.
"Our work is to ensure people's money is invested in welfare. I will ensure the benefits of schemes reach the end person," said Yogi.
Earlier in the day, Adityanath undertook a surprise inspection of the District Hospital in Jhansi where he inquired about the treatment and other facilities from the patients.(ANI)
