To commemorate the spirit of health and wellbeing, Washington Apple Commission (WAC) brought the freshness of apples straight from the orchards of Washington State across the nation, as an 89 city national campaign called 'The Washington Apple Wagon Tour', WAC created a fun and exciting event for every city they visited.
We all know the old adage: "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Taking the same thought further, the two month long road show was aimed to educate apple lovers about the succulent Washington apple varieties available in India along with a number of delights.
Within a span of 60 days, 'The Washington Apple Wagon Tour' attracted excellent participation for various contests and competitions. Not only this, lucky consumers also got a chance to win a host of prizes while being educated on health benefits of Washington apples.
Apple lovers got another reason to celebrate with the plethora of fun and frolic activities. This year, the excitement of the consumers was taken a notch higher with a unique photo booth created at the Wagon.
The consumers not only got a chance to take fun groupfies with their friends and family using the Washington apple themed props, but also got an opportunity to win exciting prizes by uploading pictures on their social media pages. Every week, consumers with maximum likes on their pictures win exciting hampers gifted by WAC.
Talking about the initiative, Keith Sunderlal, India representative of the Washington Apple Commission said, "We are happy to be back with a bang for our apple lovers in New Delhi. Through 'The Washington Apple Wagon Tour' we want more and more people to experience the goodness of Washington apples across India.
