Bengaluru Police summons BJP leader B.S. Yeddyurappa in connection with kidnapping case

Bengaluru Police on Friday summoned former Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in connection with the kidnapping case of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader K S Eshwarappa's personal assistant Vinay Kumar.

Yeddyurappa will appear before police on September 28.

Reportedly, police earlier questioned Yedurappa's relative and personal assistant for long hours in the regard.

On May 11, a gang had allegedly attempted to kidnap Vinay near ISKCON temple.

When Vinay protested and screamed for the help, the kidnappers fled from the spot. (ANI)
