Godzilla: King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty has released the first pictures of the monster. The third movie in Warner Bros and Legendary's Monsterverse will lead to the events of 'Godzilla vs Kong.'
Dougherty took to Twitter on the 69th day of filming and shared a CG image of the titular creature roaring back to life on a screen.
Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, and O'Shea Jackson Jr feature in King of the Monsters, set for release on March 22, 2019.
Gareth Edwards directed 2014's Godzilla, which saw nature's guardian rise from the sea to do battle against gargantuan beasts.
Following King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs Kong from Adam Wingard will hit theatres on May 22, 2020.
