At least 24 people have reportedly been injured in a bomb explosion near the Phramongkutklao Hospital here on Monday.
The bombing took place on the third anniversary of the 2014 military coup. The Phramongkutklao Hospital is frequented by retired army officials.
The Independent quoted Kamthorn Aucharoen, Commander of the police explosive ordnance team as saying, "It was a bomb. We found the pieces that were used to make the bomb. Right now authorities are checking out closed circuit cameras."
The blast comes weeks after a double bomb explosion at a shopping center in Pattani. (ANI)
